About

We begin at the ground.

Floorever is an open notebook for people who notice how a room sounds, softens, and settles around them.

Why floors?

The floor is the largest surface in most rooms and the one we touch most, yet it is usually the last thing people talk about. It sets the temperature of a space, decides how it sounds, and records every ordinary day in its patina.

Floorever collects that quieter side of interiors: how smoked oak changes a dark room, why limestone makes sunlight feel physical, what terracotta asks of you, where slate earns its place.

“No shopping lists. No before & after. Just room to notice.”

What you will find here

  • Room studies — four interior moods, each built from one floor and one kind of light.
  • Portfolio — complete visual studies that follow an idea from the floor up.
  • Material guides — plain-language notes on how natural floors look, age and are cared for.
  • Notebook — short essays and practical guides.

A note on the images

The rooms in our studies and portfolio are imagined spaces — visual studies created to test one idea about a floor, a material or a light. They are not client projects, and we do not present them as real homes.

Independence

We do not sell flooring and are not paid to recommend brands. Material guides describe general properties; the right product for a specific home depends on its structure, climate and use, so always check the manufacturer’s guidance and a qualified installer’s advice before you buy.
